Can you think for a moment how much do spend on your education? From thousands of rupees per year for primary education to another sum for all the stationary supplies. Is that enough to be independent? Of course not. You spend another lakhs of rupees on your secondary education and university education. Most of every person goes through this process in their lifetime. Lucky you!!
Have you ever thought about those people who live on streets or even in slums. These people do not even have the basic necessities of food shelter and clothes, education is far off. These people spend all their earnings for buying those basic needs and this goes on for generations.
Lack of education is a major factor affecting the present scenario of the country. It is not only affecting individuals but the whole nation. To mitigate this situation Happy Faces vadodara has decide to take up on a project called ‘Pasti se Banayenge Hasti’. – to spread happiness by collecting waste newspapers and magazines.
The idea was collect all the waste newspapers from around the city and give it for recycling. The waste from your house will help someone to lead a better life. The campaign started from 15th April and Ended on 15 July 2019. We have collected 15 tons of Pasti and generated funds for educational needs of the less privileged kids in the city.
The funds collected by the campaign was used for buying necessary stationery items ,school bags and even to educate kids. We have distributed 500 school bags from the collection received.
We would like to thank all the donors and members who made this campaign successful.
Happy Faces always strives to help the citizens with the most innovative and effective way. We urge you all to support the cause and be a part of this young group.
