HFV’s Street School and is operational in Sayajigunj and Sun Pharma Road.
The HFV team in collaboration with Team Muskan (Darshanam Central Park) and Child Friendly Vadodara runs the Street school of Sayajigunj. The school has 100+ kids from marginalised families.
Here the volunteers educate these kids daily with the school syllabus and extra curriculum activities. The members of the volunteer team undertake scheduled studies to educate the kids.
The Street School classroom was simple. Students of Cygnus World School, a well-known school in Vadodara and collaborator of HFV, decided to make the rooms interactive by painting the wall with attractive designs.
The students put in a lot of effort to complete their work. It took seven days to transform the HFV classroom into a livelier place under the guidance of their teacher and member of HFV, Karan Muley.
Each one of us at HFV is thankful to the students and the school administration for taking the initiative. Our children are excited and thrilled to enter their colourful classroom.
We at HFV are grateful to the Principal of the Cygnus World School. The Principal of Cygnus World School, Mrs Kanchan Joshi, took the painting initiative with much enthusiasm and directed her students to take up the social cause with full dedication and zeal.
As a crucial collaborator, Cygnus World School has always supported our initiatives. Their heartfelt participation in our programs stands as a testament to the trust and faith they have in our work.
The Principal of Cygnus School in her speech acknowledged our efforts toward the downtrodden. She added that her school will be a part of such initiatives in the future. The children of street school were surprised to see the change in their school, making them happy and smile.
